I am 14 years old, and there are not very many kids who know who John Lennon was. This is a fact and a pity because he was one of the great minds and voices in the 60’s and 70’s. His clip should be in the comercial, to “expose the young” to John. Concerning Yoko’s intentions of licensing the clip, I believe they were purely to “keep him in the minds of the public”.

Yoko has always been srtictly from commercial. This is right up there with Martin Luther King’s relatives licensing use of the “I Have A Dream” speech…

I think it’s a great idea and before I read Sean’s comments I thought the same thing – keep John Lennon in the public’s mind. Maybe people will reflect on what he stood for and some good will come of it.

Wearing the dunce cap is a small price to pay for all the joy that you guys bring your listeners during this annual sharing of your archives. The fact that we can call or e-mail you and actually influence you to play a great song that you might have skipped makes A-Z the wondrous interactive radio experience that it always is. I hope mafter it’s over that you will have a little after A-Z party like you have in the past so that we, the listeners can talk to you folks over drinks and snacks and let you know how thoroughly we appeciate the way that WTTS keeps alive the spirit and magic that we like to call independent radio.

Were the winners for the One Eskimo private concert announced? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find anything about it, and its gone from the WTTS website! I’m dying to know!!!
