David Bowie’s single “Space Oddity” was released just days before Neil Armstrong stepped foot on the Moon in 1969. BBC television coverage of the event featured the song, which helped Bowie crack the British top five for the first time. Now, for its 40th anniversary “Space Oddity” is receiving the reissue treatment in an EP featuring four different versions of the song and an iPhone app that will allow fans to remix it from the original eight multi-tracks.
